You could apply for a job in teaching because you have a degree in early childhood, you could go to the board of education and tell them what is your desire and they will inform you, good luck.

You can earn a degree in early childhood education in just two-years. With such a a degree you could work in a daycare center or even explore options for opening your own.

In some states, this is an associate degree. You could be a para at a school, a substitute teacher, or work in a day care setting. Check for your state requirements and think about visiting a career counselor at your local high school or college**FAN

The Early Childhood Education program prepares students to teach young children in a variety of inclusive early childhood settings, including preschools, pre-kindergartens, Head Start, child care centers, and infant/toddler programs. Students will receive a basic understanding of principles of early childhood education, child growth and development, and will develop specific skills in planning and implementing the curriculum in centers. Upon completion of the program, students will be qualified to assume lead teachers and director positions. Graduates of this program may work with children through five years of age. With this program you will receive an Associate of Applied Science degree in Early Childhood Education. At a Community College the program can be completed in two years or a Certificate of Proficiency in a Infant/Toddler program that will take about a year or so to finish.
