My work will pay for 90% of my college but only if I go with early childhood education I want to work with kids but I don’t know what Type of jobs I can get with a bachelor degree. and if you know how much it pays.

Im taking early childhood at my high school, and the careers I know I could go into are pre k-3 teaching, nanny, and pretty much anything with kids. We’ve even been told child librarians and child psychologists as well. Look into special education too.
It would depend on whether the degree leads to teacher certification. If it does, you would be qualified to teach in a public school Pre K program. Those are very desirable jobs. Otherwise, you could teach in day care, Head Start and nursery school settings. Some programs pay teachers with a degree more than one without. Except for the public school jobs none of them pay well but the exact amount varies by location and the individual program.
a BA in ECE allows you to teach children from birth through 3 grade. Also depending on what electives you take and what you minor in you may be able to teach Special Education of young children, or become the director of a childcare or pre-school program.
I do not know how much it pays, but I am a teacher with an AA degree in ECE, and I make $11.25 an hour.
Director of an early childhood center. Preschool teacher. Head start teacher. Does not pay too much, so you must like children, and have the drive to do this kind of work.
If you certify in your state, most BS degrees in ECED are for birth to 2nd or 3rd grade. After 5 years, I’ve found my niche in a private day school setting rather than public school. I make approximately $35k a year in Oklahoma plus benefits including half off of childcare for my son. To focus on Library media would be a few extra classes and certification exam, specifically for library specialists.
You can also be qualified to work for your local Child protective services/Department Human Services or whatever as a social worker.
It will really depend on the local requirements for your area and the average teaching salary.
